Commercial property team strengthened at leading Bardford law firm.
Bradford law firm Read Dunn Connell Solicitors has appointed Mary Rose Millin as a partner and to head its Commercial Property department. Mary Rose is an experienced commercial property solicitor having worked as an associate at Eversheds and a partner at Schofield Sweeney LLP and Booth & Co (now Addleshaw Goddards). She has also worked in In-House environments such as David Maclean Homes and as a non-executive director of a housing association and also a regeneration company.
After graduating in law in 1982 she completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma from Bradford University.
Mary Rose Millin is also dedicated to the regeneration of Bradford and has had significant involvement in various other organisations in the city.
These include:
The redevelopment of Bradford College on their Estates Committee. This is the largest college redevelopment in England.
Sitting on the Board of Action For Bradford Limited. This is a Development Trust, which is a community based not for profit organisation managing workspace and community projects in Manningham.
Previous significant involvement with Newlands Community Association, a community led regeneration company, and also sitting on the Board of the trading subsidiary.
The Bradford Property Forum which is rapidly becoming a serious industry voice in the City, and is comprised of property industry professionals and developers. Mary Rose was asked to be a founding member, and was on the steering committee until leaving the University.
