Firm expands into Ilkley

Nigel Ward has merged his Ilkley based legal practice, Nigel Ward & Co, into Bradford’s independent Solicitor’s firm, Read Dunn Connell. He takes with him a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from professionals and local residents of Ilkley and the surrounding areas to owner managed businesses and charities.

Having qualified with 1965, Nigel set up his own practice in 1968, in Ilkley. The founding partner of the firm, Nigel Ward specialises in Property, Corporate and Charity Law.

The Ilkley office, located on New Brook Street, has built up an enviable client base and has an excellent reputation in the local area. It offers Read Dunn Connell a fantastic base from which to serve the residents of Ilkley and the surrounding areas.

On the rationale behind the merger, Nigel commented,
‘The change made perfect sense. The client base which we have developed over the past 41 years can now benefit from the specialist expertise available within a larger practice, from commercial and civil litigation (which is currently not offered by any other practice in Ilkley) to extensive expertise in private client law such as Wills and Probate and Family law.’
