James Thomas a partner in the practice, qualified as a solicitor in 1979. James is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
James has established a sound reputation in dealing with particularly complex trusts and estates and complicated tax planning cases. He is highly respected by accountants, independent financial advisers and other professionals within West and
Belinda Fox (formerly the senior partner of the firm) now works as a Consultant within the practice. She is based at the Ilkley office. She specialises in the administration of trusts and estates and has a particular interest in Inheritance Tax planning matters. Clients often comment upon her practical and yet sensitive approach. She appreciates that she is often dealing with clients at what can be a difficult and stressful time.
Sarah Littlewood qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and joined the practice in 2006 from a firm in Wakefield where she gained helpful experience in their Wills and Probate department.
Sarah is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Robert Anderson, partner at the firm, works closely in conjunction with our Wills and Probate Team, Robert is able to offer sympathetic and practical advice on contentious Wills and Probate matters. These disputes by their nature often concern delicate family relationships and Robert assists clients to resolve matters in a non-adversarial way with the aim of reducing costs and preventing unnecessary emotional stress.
Robert also advises clients concerning claims for financial provision where the deceased has died intestate, or the Will does not make adequate provision for the needs of their family members.
